Volunteer participation in ACA is welcomed and encouraged. The association needs interested individuals to serve in a variety of short and long-term capacities. Members are invited to help develop the future of the organization by joining in the planning, direction, and decision-making of the association. There are many opportunities for you to become involved:

• Volunteer for a committee or other assignment.
• Apply for open volunteer positions.
• Join or start a chapter or special interest group.
• Share articles by or about you on the ACA web site.
• Contribute a creativity tool to the online toolbox.
• Nominate a colleague for an award or for election.
• Present a session at a regional or annual ACA meeting.
• Send in items for ACA Exchange.
• Write an article or book review for Focus.
• Communicate with other ACA members via Creativity Speaks.
• Sell your products in the ACA member shop.
• Do an interview to show creativity at work.
