Theme: Creativity in the Gap
Given the rapid pace of change in today's global culture, the space between now and
the future presents significant challenges for professionals in multiple domains.
Creativity plays an essential role in both adjustment and transformation in the gap
between what is and what can be.
Each proposal should clearly state how the presentation will reflect the conference
theme, "Creativity in the Gap."
Proposals should address the role of creativity in one or more of the following areas:
• Productivity in problem spaces
• Defining problems in context
• Creative identification of opportunities
• Selecting beneficial tools and techniques
• Applied creative leadership
• Advantageous team-building processes
Sessions are expected to appeal to creative professionals and present new information to conference attendees. Participants should be able to apply the knowledge acquired in the session to their work in areas such as business, marketing, new product development, science and industry, academia, education and training, and the arts. Sessions may demonstrate existing processes in new circumstances or may introduce original research in the field of creativity.
