Duke Rohe is a prolific producer of “Popcorn Thoughts” … gems that cause your creative spirit to work overtime. As he describes it all: “Rolf Smith started popcorn thoughts with his challenge to create Thinking for Dummies book. Now one of my favorite things to do is sit in church with pen in hand and grab words, thoughts, phrases as they pop out during the sermon. Could be what the preacher said, should have said, it could be my wandering mind; but my goal is to catch something useful as it pops out. At home, I keep my computer on with a popcorn file up to add as things surface. In the car, I keep a tape recorder to do the same. I capture 60 thoughts a week and about 20 end up being popcorn thoughts that I send to a think-geek e-list... The mind will amaze you if you listen to it.” To be added to this delightful and insightful thought-provoker, just e-mail Duke at drohe@pdq.net.
