Torrance Legacy Network

Attention all educators and others who had the privilege of knowing Dr. E. Paul Torrance and who are familiar with his work. We are starting a serious effort to bring together the scattered population who remember Torrance and his enduring contribution to education and to the development of creative potential everywhere. As a start, we are exploring how we might launch a public effort to improve our system of education. Advocates of academic attention to creative education in the manner of the Torrance leadership could be a powerful force in bringing official attention and promotion of the Torrance legacy to official change agents in educational administration. We would honor him if we could bring his legacy front and center in an action to improve traditional education.

Paul Torrance was a most prolific writer of tests, books, articles, and more about creativity--over 2,000 items. Scholastic Testing Service is the publisher of the Torrance Tests for Creative Thinking and some other materials by and about Dr. Torrance.
