2006 ACA Conference to be held in Austin, TX, March 29 - 31, 2006
The ACA Board has determined that the 2005 ACA International Conference will return to Austin on March 29 - 31, 2006. Initials plans include several pre-Conference Institutes as well as a post-Conference "Weekend in in Central Texas" that will include plenty of opportunities for networking fun and friendship. ACA Appoints Barry Silverberg its new Executive Director and moves operations to Austin, TX
At its April 2, 2005 meeting, the ACA Board appointed Barry Silverberg its new Executive Director. At the same time, there was unanimous expressions of appreciation to Lynne Krause, who served as Executive Director for the past 5 years and to Ann Anderson who has assisted the ACA in a staff capacity from its earliest days.

Silverberg served as the Local Conference Chair for the 2005 International Conference in Austin, TX. The part-time role as ACA Executive Director is in addition to his full-time position as the Director of the Center for Community-Based and Nonprofit Organizations at Austin Community College, Austin, TX and as part-time Executive Director of the Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations.
