The Hardy Personality: Putting Ideas Into Action
Generating ideas is only one phase of creative productivity.Putting
ideas into action is not easy. A plan of action is needed
to enlist the support of patrons, entrepeneurs and other
resources. Sensitivity often becomes an issue in the process
of selling an idea. The "pitch" is a time of stress
and adversity. Coping strategies are essential to ensure
a smooth transition from idea generation to ideas in practice.
- better understand research based training activities
that foster the development of a "hardy personality".
- turn stress and adversity from potentially debilitating
circumstances into opportunities,thereby maintaining or
enhancing creative performance.
- demonstrate a confidence and assertiveness,which will
contribute to the promotion of support for innovation and
new ways of thinking.
